In 1995 three Atlantans, lifelong friends and classically trained tenors, decided to form their own version of the world renowned
"Three tenors." They became the "3 Inspirational Tenors," focusing on Christian music and message oriented,
secular works.
The group made its debut in April 1995 at Atlanta's Symphony Hall in a concert benefitting the acclaimed Young Singers
of Callanwolde.
Since that time, the group has performed at the dedication of the Dobb's Plaza on Atlanta's famous "Sweet Auburn"
Avenue and for the National Caucus of Black Musicians during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. They appeared in three concerts
for visitors to Atlanta sponsored by the Celebrate Faith and Arts Council and the Salvation Army. In January 1997 the group
presented a special program to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday at the University of South Carolina.
The group's repertoire includes beloved hymns and spirituals such as How Great Thou Art, The Holy City, and He's Got the
Whole World in His Hands, as well as inspiring popular songs such as Climb Every Mountain and The Impossible Dream.
